We are sorry to hear that you incurred damage during the move and for the inconvenience this has caused you. Please know that we take this very seriously and will work with you to correct this matter.
If an item has been damaged or misplaced during the moving process, please fill out and submit the PDF claim form provided at the bottom of this page. When submitting your claim, please include digital color photos of the item you are claiming. To help us fully assess the damage, please provide a photo of the entire claimed item as well as a close-up shot of the damage. Also submit any supporting documentation (receipt, manufacturer, model number, etc.) you have for the item you are claiming. A “comments” section is available at the end of the claim form should you need to provide further explanation for any items or issues referenced in your claim.
Once you have submitted your form, we will send confirmation that we have received your form. Then, our Claims department will review the claim and contact you in a timely manner with any further questions or instructions. Typically, we will work to resolve the claim within 30 days after the date of delivery for a local move, and within 9 months after the date of delivery for a long-distance move.
Please note that we may contact you to request additional documentation or information. Please promptly respond to calls and/or requests for additional information to expedite the processing of your claim.

Since all damaged items are subject to inspection, please do not attempt to repair or replace any items for which you seek compensation. To be eligible for compensation, all claimed items must be available for inspection in the same condition in which they were delivered to you. Do not discard any item unless instructed by Lynn Moving.
Claims for items damaged in boxes when the client performed self-packing will not be honored.
Please be advised that you can only file one claim per move.
